Cartridge Only Professional hockey comes to the Game Boy Color with NHL 2000. You can choose from all of the NHL teams, including the expansion Atlanta Thrashers. Play an Exhibition game to work on your tactics and strategies, and when you are ready for long-term competition, try to endure an 82-game Season, or just skip straight to the Playoffs. While in the game, you will have to learn when to make line changes and determine when it’s a good time to pull the goalie. In addition to these tactical decisions, you must also deal with penalties and infractions including offsides, two-line passes, and icing. However, you can customize the game by turning off certain rules and setting the referee’s strictness. In addition, there are three different difficulty levels. Will you be able to claim the Stanley Cup? The only way to find out is by playing NHL 2000.

The Golden Rule (0933 crop)
It’s fuzzy, but the sign was so perfect, I had to try to get some sort of shot and post it. My husband insisted that I get a shot to post b/c that way I could go nuts on all of the rude a-holes who attend a hockey game and get up in the middle of play to get beer, food, use the loo, etc. and you can’t see JACK while they’re stumbling their way out. When the building first opened (and in the old building – the Spectrum), the ushers were pretty good at holding people back from getting to their seats during play, telling people to sit down, etc. No more – idiots just wander around b/c the food and conducting business is just more important. We found that the box was no exception, in fact, it was probably a little worse b/c a lot of these business snoots don’t think signs like this (or rules in general) apply to them…

I should probably stop my ranting there. I think you see my point why this sign needs to be everywhere in every hockey arena at every level. (Perhaps it’s already Canadian law? :oP)
